In Floristaurant, knowledge about plants and flowers accumulates and serves to illustrate how limited the variety of foods we consume in our modern Western diet is. Floristaurant works as a compendium and also as a kind of travel diary; when the artist visits a new city or region, she searches for and collects peculiar plants and flowers at that location. In the edible installation in the market are actively involved the spectators who circulate by the market, who are invited to taste the edible sculptures.
